Most Sundays start with songs. Worship Manager keeps your lyric library local, searchable, and click-to-present — so the operator can stay with the band instead of fighting slides.
Open the Songs tab
Press Ctrl + S or click Songs in the bottom tabs.
You will see:
- A Search field for filtering titles
- Blank Display — send lyrics without a background
- ADD SONG — create a new entry
- SYNC SONGS — share/receive libraries between machines (full guide)
- Settings — fonts, colors, overlay layout for song text
- The lyric list for the selected song on the right
Add a song
- Click ADD SONG.
- Enter a title.
- Add lyrics as separate verses / sections (each block becomes a clickable slide).
- Use the verse controls to move a section up/down, insert another below, or delete one.
- Save.
A good rule of thumb: one slide per musical phrase the congregation needs to sing — not one giant wall of text.
Edit or delete a song
Right-click the song title for context actions:
- Edit the title and lyric blocks
- Delete the song from the library
- Pin Song for quick access in the Pinned tab
After edits, the search list refreshes so your team always sees the latest version on that machine.
Present lyrics live
- Search and select the song.
- Click a lyric block — it goes to the overlay on Program / the display.
- Click the next block when the band moves on.
- Use CLEAR OVERLAY when the song ends but you want the background to stay, or CLEAR DISPLAY for a full wipe.
Blank Display
Turn on Blank Display when you want clean white (or styled) text with no media behind it. Leave it off when you are pairing lyrics with a background from the Media tab.
Style your song overlays
Open Settings in the Songs tab to control:
- Font family and size
- Text color and shadow
- Alignment and vertical position (top / center / bottom)
- Background color and background image
- Background mode (tight / normal / full)
Changes apply to song overlays so you can match your church’s look without rebuilding slides every week.
Pin songs you always use
Right-click a song → Pin Song. Pinned items show up under the Pinned tab (Ctrl + P) for one-click access during service — great for the doxology, response songs, or anything that might appear out of order.
Tips for a healthy library
- Use consistent titles (

- Split choruses and bridges into their own blocks so you can jump around
- Keep a short “service set” pinned on Sunday morning
- Sync libraries between the prep laptop and the booth PC before you leave the office
